Just because we don't agree doesn't mean either one of us is right or wrong.
If we try your method first and it fails, then it's time to try a different method.
Education the natural process of life.
Always strive to get an education and never rely on what others consider to be an acceptable education for any aspect of your life.

Arkansas Constitution Article II, section 25.

Arkansas Constitution
Article II, section 25.
Religion, morality and knowledge being essential to good government, the General Assembly shall enact suitable laws to protect every religious denomination in the peaceable enjoyment of its own mode of public worship.
I stated I'd write a blog on this, this morning. Today while I was at work I considered how and what I felt I should say about my states constitution, so I'll start from the beginning and hope I don't offend anyone with my ramblings.
Religion:
This is a subject that is difficult to define for the simple reason that everyones concept is different. This doesn't mean our different concepts are wrong, it just means we see our individual beliefs in different perspective.
As an example I claim to be a realist and a disillusioned Baptist, I am an ordained minister but will not lie to myself or anyone else by claiming to be a Christian.
My beliefs of religion is a more tangible concept in my opinion. Some people have called me agnostic for having an Earth based belief, I consider it to be closer to the native American Indians. I occasionally read scripture, not as often as I probably should. The Bible is a excellent guidebook for everyone even if they may not believe in a supreme being or God as the creator of our world. So far there is no law that says I have to believe in God to enjoy reading the Bible. Nor is there a law that says I have to understand the beliefs of others to learn from them.
An Earth based concept for me means the Earth we call home has been kind enough to provide us with what we need to sustain life and survive. It has provided us with the ability to discover and learn. In our quest for knowledge we also have an obligation to the Earth to only use what we need to continue the existence of our species. As a species we must commend ourselves for the advances that have been made in our history, but we do not have the right to abuse these advances if they are destroying the world we call home.
In some ways my beliefs are a complete opposite of the Amish community. This community refrains from the advances of modern technology for a simpler life of hard work and a cleaner lifestyle. They are more open to accept the advances of modern medicines and the advances made in that field. Where I am on the other side of this lifestyle. I'm all for the advances of modern technology, but believe the use of chemicals as a source of medicine on a daily basis to violate the laws of nature. This belief extends to the foods we consume also.
Morality:
Now this is something that is somewhat easier for me to comprehend and associate with. Morally if you are so sure of being right about your concepts and ideas, you have obligated yourself into the position of being responsible for the damages and deaths associated with what you believe everyone should accept as the right concept.
Knowledge:
As I said earlier we were gifted with the ability to discover and learn. So knowledge is gained by our experiences in life. Ignoring what we have discovered as being a successful idea is not using the knowledge we have gained from our experiences.

I Can Feel the Tremors.

It's starting to get worse, when I lay down to rest the tremors start,
it seems to start at the bone and work out to the skin.
At times it feels like I'll shake out of my skin.
Some times they are mild and allow me to sleep,
while other times I feel the need to hold onto myself tightly to control them.
The mild ones allow sleep, but this is short lived.
These usually end up shaking me awake violently.
Once awake I must be active mentally and/or physically with a project,
this takes my mind off the tremors, as I'm occupied they don't show themselves.
These tremors are affecting my cycles of life.
It's difficult to support a family when you work around the tremors.
The side effects include sore joints and stiff muscles.
There are times it feels like I was beat with a log truck
And some times it causes me to be easily irritated with people.
I don't like the tremors, they impose on my normally good disposition.

Linux Mint 9 LTS XFCE version modified with e16 enlightenment.

Linux Mint 9 LTS XFCE version modified with e16 enlightenment.
I have installed and prefer e16 version of Enlightenment window manager over the e17 version. Enlightenment runs faster on the older computers I use. A couple weeks ago I was tinkering around with the set-up and deleted the menu that opens with the left mouse click from my desktop. Last night it was restored and modified, there are some tweaks left to do to it still.
Here is the pictures of my 4 virtual desktops I have set for the e16 environment. The backgrounds are still being used, but there have been minor changes in the tool bars and placement of the desktop components.
I know that these pictures are a re-post, but felt they should be included in this post.

I haven’t bought a new computer in well over 12 years now, all the desktops in the house are rescued, recycled and refurbished with Linux Mint operating system.

I also have KDE software installed that I use, this is mostly used for my independent contracting company. I try to keep every aspect of my life separated with the different varieties of software.

My web browser of choice is called Seamonkey it is from Mozilla the people who brought you Firefox, Thunderbird and Prism. I also use these three software projects on a daily basis. This is being composed with the Seamonkey composer application as a test to expand my knowledge of what I can accomplish with it.

Update: I've been getting this tweaked and am so enjoying the e16 more every time I learn something about it.

Continuing my Desktop Dabbling

My last post was about installing and setting up the e16 window manager, well today I finally re-installed and modified my desktop menu that is opened by the left mouse button. I have to say I am glad to finally learn how to do that.

I've mentioned I consider myself a newbie when it comes to Linux operating systems. In the process of learning more about e16 and setting it up, I also installed Prism software. It's a nice experience of site specific web browsing, instead of shortcuts or bookmarks on your browser. It sets the shortcuts to your desktop, I use it for Facebook, Tumblr and a few other sites.

As for editing and posting this blog I am presently using Arora web browser, it's a good editor and quicker for typing without a lot of lag time like some of my other browsers. I do have to use a different browser for uploading pictures to my blog for some reason. But that's just another hurdle to clear for another day.
