Go back in history and look at peoples way of life, sure I imagine it was tough. What, no modern conveniences? We had craftsmen, you know people who took pride in their work, who specialized in a few related areas. There are some still out there, but not as many as I think should be. Independences in knowing that you could support your family comfortably, without a lot of unnecessary B.S.
Has big business hurt this way of life? Is the corporations forcing them into extinction? Does having corporate sponsers make you any better than everyone else in your community? I may be wrong, but wasn't there some sort of law to stop corporations from controlling a market. Didn't our founding fathers beleive these corporations would be the downfall of free enterprise? Isn't that the reason corporations were desovled after 20 or 30 years back at the beginning of our nation's fight for independence?
